Avoid Digging with Trenchless Pipe Relining on the Treasure Coast

In the past, and even with some current plumbers, a leak or repair would require a plumber to rip out walls, tear into floors and excavate your entire yard. This not only causes a huge mess, but makes a plumbing emergency even more expensive and stressful then it needs to be. Miranda Plumbing Services utilizes trenchless repairs for almost all of their jobs, saving you both time and money. When you discover a leak in your plumbing you may be unaware of the options you have for repair. One of our most popular techniques is pipe relining. Relining your pipes allows us to often save and reinforce your pipes to prevent further repairs and leaks from becoming a problem. Here is some information about pipe lining and how it works. Unlike other plumbers in our area, we are able to offer our customers four different options for pipe relining. All of our pipe lining options can be completed without excavating your entire yard. We will make every effort to prevent damage to your landscaping, home structure and other property. We pride ourselves on leaving the site in the same or better condition than when we arrived. Our pipe relining options are cured-in resin lining, epoxy lining, slip lining and pipe bursting. Cured in lining utilizes a liner that has been soaked in a resin solution. The liner is threaded into the existing pipe and kept in place with an air bladder until the resin has hardened. This method works well for large diameter pipes but will reduce the diameter of your pipes. The resulting pipe lining will be as strong as commercial PVC. Epoxy lining is an epoxy solution that is applied to the inner walls of all of your pipes. The epoxy will seal off small leaks and fill in any pitting. The epoxy will not reduce the diameter of your pipes and is ideal for smaller diameter pipes that would be hindered by a loss of diameter. Slip lining is the best option for pipes that are damaged but not deteriorated beyond repair. A new smaller diameter pipe is threaded into the existing pipe. This method obviously reduces the diameter of the original pipe, but the new pipe will be as strong as a brand-new pipe system. Pipe bursting is used when no other option is available due to the damage of the existing pipe. Head is inserted into the pipes that breaks apart the old pipe and moves it out of the way. Behind the head, a new pipe is pulled into place. This is a great option for when a home or business needs to have larger pipes in their system. While the pipes are made to stand up to the wear and tear, they will eventually begin to breakdown causing leaks and possible damage to the surrounding structures. Often we don’t give our pipes a second thought until there is a problem. You can be proactive by getting your pipes lined by Miranda Plumbing Services. We are the leading experts in the area in trenchless lining and replacement. We are available to you at your convenience, we have night and weekend appointments and have a record of being on time for appointments over 98% of the time. When we arrive at your home or business we will sit down with you to go over any issues and concerns you have. Before we can begin the relining process we will need to inspect the pipes with our specialized video inspection equipment. If there is a clog in your drains we will need to remedy that situation before the equipment can inspect your pipes. We offer our customers four different types of relining for your pipes. Epoxy lining is an epoxy compound that is applied to the inside walls of your pipes. This type of lining is ideal for situations where pipes have pitting, small leaks and small amounts of corrosion. This relining process also does not reduce the diameter of your pipes, so it works well with small diameters pipes. Cured-in lining consists of a soak soaked in a resin compound. Once the liner is soaked and in place in your pipes, we will insert a bladder filled with air to hold the liner in place as it hardens. This method will give your pipes the strength of commercial PVC. Cured-in lining is ideal for larger diameter pipes and will reduce the diameter of your pipes by about 4%. Slip lining places a new pipe into the old pipe. This method works well for pipes that are larger in diameter and pipes that have extensive damage and leaks. You may be confused as to what type of repair may be necessary to fix your plumbing leak. Here is some information on the types of repairs that we offer at Miranda Plumbing Services. When we arrive for your appointment, we have an over 98% on time appointment record, we will go over all of the concerns you have. We use our state of the art leak detection equipment to inspect your pipes and find exactly where the leak is. Our detection equipment allows us to pinpoint the leak within one inch. Once we find the leak we will go over with you all the options you have for the repair. These options include a total pipe replacement, localized pipe replacement and pipe lining. If your system has several leaks in different areas, a total system replacement may be needed. We use slip lining or pipe bursting to replace your pipes with no excavation needed. When we use slip lining as a repair option we will thread a smaller diameter pipe into the existing pipe. This method will reduce you pipe diameter, but will also give you all new pipes, eliminating further problems. Pipe bursting is done when you need larger diameter pipes or if slip lining is not an option. A head is threaded into the pipes that will break apart the old pipe and push it aside; right behind the head is a new pipe that is pulled into place. If you only have one or two leaks, we can excavate just that area and then replace a small section of pipe. This is an option if the rest of your pipes are in good shape and there is only a small area of problems. We also offer pipe lining. We will line your existing pipes with an epoxy or use a resin lining. The epoxy lining will not reduce the pipe diameter and works well for small pinhole leaks and pits in your pipes. If the leak holes are bigger, we use a resin soaked liner that is slipped into the pipes and then allowed to harden. This will reduce your pipe diameter, but the resin is as strong as commercial PVC piping.
